Courtship, Betrothal and Happiness (Jeremiah 29:11-13)
Dave Sunman, 30 November 2014
Part of the Advent 2014 series, Sunday Morning service
As we start our Advent series we see Mary and Joseph considering their marriage, which for anyone is an incredible commitment and also a great risk, entrusting our lives into the care of another person.
We take risks for many different reasons, but mainly for the hope of something greater. But a risk led by God is no risk at all, though we may still need to work at it, give it our all and continue to trust in God no matter what else gets thrown against us. Where is your trust?

Jeremiah 29:11–13 (Listen)
11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. 13 You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.
