Worshipping engages our whole lives (Romans 12:1-2)
Andrew Clark, 15 April 2018
Part of the Whole Life Worship series, Sunday Morning service
Paul implies a remarkable shift in the worship life of God’s people: from a temple system involving animals, sacrifices, priests and the paraphernalia surrounding it, to the offering up of our ‘everyday, ordinary life, our sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life’. Today we consider how our offering of worship to God can look remarkably ordinary and, at the same time, extraordinary!

Romans 12:1–2 (Listen)
12:1 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. 2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
