Faith (Hebrews 11:1-2)
Dave Sunman, 14 January 2018
Part of the The Life of Faith series, Sunday Morning service
In our world today, faith is often seen as a purely intellectual exercise. Do you believe in fairies? Do you believe in ghosts? Do you believe in God? Biblical faith is certainly no less than that, but (as we shall see over this term as we look at the heroes of faith in Hebrews chapter 11) it is way more. Biblical faith is always expressed in devoted action under the guidance of God. The challenge comes to us asking “What is your faith like?”

Hebrews 11:1–2 (Listen)
11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. 2 For by it the people of old received their commendation.
