Come as you are! (John 2:23-3:1)
Dave Sunman, 2 July 2017
Part of the Standalone Sermon series, Sunday Morning service
As we celebrate the baptisms of those who have found a new start in Jesus Christ this morning, we consider a man who came to Jesus as he was and yet in secret. He was puzzled by Jesus and knew he needed to know more. Jesus challenged him, as he challenges us today, that only in believing in Jesus Christ can we find the new start that we long for. We can come to him as we are today and receive that new beginning.

John 2:23–3:1 (Listen)
23 Now when he was in Jerusalem at the Passover Feast, many believed in his name when they saw the signs that he was doing. 24 But Jesus on his part did not entrust himself to them, because he knew all people 25 and needed no one to bear witness about man, for he himself knew what was in man.
3:1 Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.
