Receiving God’s promises (2 Peter 1:3-4)
John Low, 31 July 2016
Part of the The Promises Of God series, Sunday Evening service
There are so many promises given in the Bible and we have looked at only a few in our evening series over the past term. 2 Peter refers to the great and precious promises of God. Great and precious because they come from a great God who can do the impossible and because they lead to an abundant life.

2 Peter 1:3–4 (Listen)
3 His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence, 4 by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire.
