“Lord, teach us to pray” (am) (Luke 11:1)
Dave Sunman, 3 January 2016
Part of the Prayer series, Sunday Morning service
Nicky Gumbel describes prayer as “the most important activity of our lives” and yet many of us feel that our prayer lives are not all that they could be. The disciples were inspired by the prayer life of Jesus and so asked him to teach them to pray. As we launch our teaching series for the morning and evening services this term we will ask the same question. We start to explore not just how we can pray more effectively but how, as we pray, we move deeper into our relationship with God.
