The Bible says that “Children are God’s best gift”. Whether you are a parent or carer, grandparent, childminder, or nanny - we aim to create a loving and supportive environment that you and your children can enjoy.

Be it through our midweek toddler and baby groups, the after-school and holiday events for families that we offer, or our children’s and youth work on a Sunday morning, we hope that you find Hertford Baptist Church a place where you can make friends, enjoy fresh coffee, and share the joys and challenges of bringing up children with others.

Life as a family is a journey, one that can be exciting, challenging, nerve-wracking and ultimately rewarding. We would love to share that journey with you!

Our midweek groups meet from 10-11.30am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays during term time. They cost £2 per session, and there is no need to book - just turn up.  We ask all families to complete a registration form at their first sessions.

Each of our groups has a slightly different feel and age range, so that you can find the best fit for you and your child.  You are welcome to come along to more than one session per week.

Fresh coffee and cake is available on Wednesdays and Fridays, along with healthy snacks for children.

We use the buggy-friendly entrance on Chambers Street (SG14 1PL) for all of our groups. Free parking is available in Sainsbury’s, a short walk from the church along Cowbridge/Port Hill.

Please let us know if you would like further information about any of our groups and activities. We look forward to getting to know you and your children.
