In what is fast becoming a much loved HBC tradition, we recently had our interactive nativity service. This gives everyone a chance to dress up as their favourite nativity characters to recreate the Christmas Story. The story included plenty of actions, noises, lots of moving about and of course, plenty of carols for everyone to sing.
We had herds of shepherds, an entire procession of wise men and women, angels galore, Marys, Jospephs, a barn full of animals and, of course, a star joining us on Sunday morning to make the event feel special. The story was told by detective mouse, who bore a striking resemblance to one of our ministry team!
Everyone had a great time, and it was great to see the young and not-so-young all joining in. A huge thank you to everyone who attended, and to all those behind the scenes who made everything happen. We look forward to seeing you all again soon for our other Christmas services.
