The MVP Group is our men’s choir singing in four parts whose mission is to spread the Good News of the Jesus through song.
The choir lead worship and give a Christian message at chapels, care homes and other institutions, as well as at celebratory services such as weddings.
The group at Hertford Baptist Church is affiliated to the international movement called the “The Festivals of Male Voice Praise” and through this link the group joins with other similar men’s choirs in the South East for a concert in London and other local Festivals of Praise and Worship.
Unlike other choirs, all the men are drawn from the Hertford Baptist Church, and so are better able to enjoy and benefit from the fellowship and support for each other at rehearsals (always full of friendly banter) and, should the arise, at times of personal problems.
The Group is always delighted to be invited to sing and proclaim the Word of God at new venues and events. Below is a short sample video of our work:
